On none of them did I ever see an aptx connection with the BM10.
I tried it on several other PCs running variously Windows 7 32-bit, Windows 8 64-bit, and even Windows 10. Again no aptx (since Windows doesn't have it), but the latency was only a second and the keyboard connected fine. So then I uninstalled the CSR Harmony software and tried it with the native Windows bluetooth software. Also I could not get the PC to accept my Microsoft Wedge bluetooth keyboard's pairing code when typed on the keyboard, though the Wedge mouse connected fine. Without aptx the audio gradually drifted out of sync from the video, as much as 5 seconds latency, which is insane. Although it connected to the BM10 there was no indication of aptx working (supposedly an aptx pop-up appears), nor any indication anywhere of how to coax aptx into life.
For the transmitter I bought the Azio BTD-V401 and installed the CSR Harmony software that came with it on the Windows 7 PC. Wanting to eliminate the audio cable running across the living room floor between my PC (Windows 7 64-bit) and my speaker system, and having tried other solutions that didn't work, I recently bought a Sony BM10 receiver for its aptx capability, needed to keep video and audio in sync.
